Programming
Your continued support provides essential funding for high-quality adult and family programs, performers and speakers, student academic awards, and an expansion of the museum pass program.
Library Directors Fund
In 2022, the Friends of the Sherborn Library established the Sherborn Library Directors Fund. The Friends of the Sherborn Library congratulate Library Director Elizabeth Johnston on her retirement and we thank her for her 34 years of outstanding service to our community and for her close collaboration with the Friends. In honor of her distinguished career, the Friends established the Sherborn Library Directors Fund. Library Directors will be able to use a percentage of the fund annually – and at their discretion - for programming, staff education, and/or special projects that support the Library’s Mission, “to provide the community with access to information and to promote lifelong education, recreational reading, and cultural advancement.”
Materials
Your support helps us offer new and in-demand books and periodicals, computer upgrades, and emerging media.
Online Resources
Fundraising is used to upgrade and improve our online resources, including innovative media, databases, and technology – all of which were utilized more frequently this year.
Interior Renovations
With your donations, the Friends will focus on outfitting and furnishing the new spaces being built within the Library.
